These Gloves can be used for "equitation" classes (where the rider is judged instead of the horse) but they are correct for all riding classes.
Our gloves are made in England from capeskin. This name came from the hair sheep found around the cape area of South Africa. These sheep are now found throughout the latitudes of north and south of the equator. A lot of our hides originate from Nigeria but also come from Ethiopia and Israel. The little marks on the skin are called imitation peccary or imi pecc. The effect of doing this means that any marks on the skin are not so easily seen on the eye, whilst the leather still remains with all its natural qualities. Sometimes the imi pecc are done at the tannery, sometimes they are clearly seen sometimes not, it does depend on the skin. Remember, every time a sheep gets caught up in a hedge or thorn bush the skin will show the scar. Also insect bites have an effect.
Hartmeyer has the fewest imi pecc visibility now by choosing only the best.

If an item is not in stock, we may be able to drop ship the item directly from our supplier in order to fill your order in a timely fashion. There is however, a drop ship fee for any item being shipped in that manner. You will be called and asked if you would like your item drop shipped prior to being charged. If you choose to not have your item drop shipped, your item will be placed on back-order and may be processed later than your chosen shipping time frame/method. In that case, your shipping charges would be changed accordingly.
