About the Facility

Hartmeyer Stable has 47 stalls, 3 tack rooms, large indoor and three outdoor arenas, and a spacious heated lounge that was built in 1970 by John Hartmeyer, Jane Ginther's (Daydn's mother) father. The Hartmeyer family was introduced to the world of Saddlebred Show Horses by the late Bob Whitney (later renowned in the Morgan Horse World). Jane Hartmeyer Ginther a rider with numerous champions worked with trainers such as Ellis Waggoner, Zel Corkern, and Jim Taylor, who trained many fine horses for the Hartmeyer family and friends. Jane also taught the Ball State Horsemanship classes for 34 years. Hartmeyer's management team is not only experienced with horses but also have Regional and National Championships as well. The saying "We're horse people." is more a credo at Hartmeyers than just mere words. Come be a part of our community.
